A closer look / Branching reading

A small choice
can change the route.

¡Perdidos en los Andes! is a projected, whole-class Spanish story. The facilitator reads with the class, learners discuss the evidence, and a vote chooses the next step.

01

Choose practice

Select Ensayar / Practice. Start with a backpack choice and follow one route.

02

Look for support

Explore the vocabulary help, guided reading and text-size controls. The story is designed for learners near the end of Spanish 1.

03

Inspect a consequence

Follow the choices to an ending, then compare the route with the teacher’s branch map. Earlier information matters later.

If you do not read Spanish: Use the English teacher guide and branch map to inspect the design. The live story remains in Spanish; the guide explains its structure in English.

Open the English guide and branch map

Use the story’s audio, motion and text-size controls to adjust the experience. The design evidence is in its reading support, connected choices and facilitator branch map.
